Services We Provide
We provide a wide array of services, all geared towards assisting those who lack access or opportunity for resources obtain the resources they need to survive and thrive with dignity and respect.
Starting Off With Equity
We assist individuals in gaining the tools necessary to be excited about the upcoming birth of their baby and confident about the birthing process and their parenting skills.
These boxes simulate a baby shower, with clothing and accessories such as pacifiers, books, caps, and blankets. A welcoming greeting-You matter, your baby matters, equity matters with no strings attached.
We create a psychologically safe, nurturing environment for young adults to be able to be authentic while being supported and accepted. Groups of peers create a community that provides an ongoing support network. Along with providing educational sessions on topics relevant to parenting, we present team building, advocacy and leadership training experiences that can change dreams into realities.
Love for Literacy is dedicated to providing high quality literature so that every young child will not only gain from being read to, but also see characters who are positive role models that look like them and share similar life experiences. This will begin with a book given in their shower box and continue through their Welcome-to-Kindergarten box, in addition to a robust shared library.
Birthday backpacks will be provided on each of their first five birthdays with presents and birthday decorations.
The final box will be a Welcome-to-Kindergarten box.
